Preparation

Lesson 1: Eyes, Nose

We painted the eyes, nose, and a bit of the mouth.

Lesson 2: Pale Map

We established a pale map of color and the first layer of fur.

Lesson 3: Ears, Refine

We refined the ears and darker colors, values, fur. It's almost finished!

Lesson 4: Whiskers, Final Refinements

We made final refinements to this cat and created whiskers!

Hi! I'm Rebecca!

I’m a watercolor artist and teacher in Pennsylvania, USA.

My goal is to empower, encourage, and equip – to help you learn to paint detailed, realistic animals in watercolor so you can use these techniques to develop your own unique style.

Before becoming a full-time artist, I enjoyed a fulfilling career as a public school Music Educator. I retired from teaching to focus on painting, and founded this watercolor school in 2017.
